Pokhara is the gateway to Annapurna region. There are two means of transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara. 20minutes of flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara will take you to Pokhara. The second option is to catch bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Follow Prithvi Highway for 5hrs to arrive at Pokhara. Take 40minutes of drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Poon hill trekking route continues along Modi River to Tirkhedhunga. Take escalating trail through Ulleri and Banthanti to the top of Nangethati Hill. Descend from Nangethati to Ghorepani and climb to Poon hill. From Poon hill, lower down to Ghandruk and then retrace the route to Nayapul
