Pokhara is the gateway to the Annapurna region. There are two means of transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara. 20 minutes of flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara will take you to Pokhara. The second option is to catch a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Follow Prithvi Highway for 5 hours to arrive at Pokhara. Take 40 minutes of drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. The Poon Hill trekking route continues along the Modi River to Tirkhedhunga. Take the escalating trail through Ulleri and Banthanti to the top of Nangethati Hill. Descend from Nangethati to Ghorepani and climb to Poon hill. From Poon hill, lower down to Ghandruk and then retrace the route to Nayapul
