It is situated on the boundary between Myagdi District and Kaski District. The distance between Annapurna Poon Hill and Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is 270 km to the west. On the route to Annapurna Sanctuary, which is located in the heartof the Annapurna Conservation Area, is the Annapurna Poon Hill viewpoint. To finish this walk, trekkers must have an ACCAP permit from Pokhara or Kathmandu.

Day 1: Travel to Pokhara
Your journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara is beautiful and the start of your adventure. Select between a short flight or a scenic drive, both of which provide breathtaking views of Nepal's landscapes. If you decide to take the route, you will get to see rural life as you pass through villages, terraced fields, and hills. Traveling by air is a quick trip that offers views of valleys and mountains from above. When you arrive in Pokhara, go around Phewa Lake and the surrounding area and take in the calm atmosphere of the city.

Day 2: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga
Drive to Nayapul, the starting site of your trek, after breakfast. Start your trekking journey from this point on, traveling through lush greenery and historic settlements. Enjoy the leisurely climb up to Tikhedhunga, where you'll stay the night in a comfortable teahouse amid the peace and quiet of the Himalayan foothills.

Day 3: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Your hike to Ghorepani today passes through forests of rhododendron and crosses suspension bridges. Admire the magnificent landscapes of the neighboring mountains as you go. After arriving in Ghorepani, check into your lodging and get ready for the walk to Poon Hill early in the morning.

Day 4: Early Morning Hike to Poon Hill for Sunrise, then Trek to Tadapani
Get up early to witness the most exciting part of your journey: the sunrise over the Himalayas from Poon Hill. Watch as the first light of day illuminates the peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, offering a stunning picture. Once you've captured this once-in-a-lifetime moment, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then proceed to Tadapani, where you'll spend the night surrounded by breathtaking views of the mountains.

Day 5: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk
As you descend through woodlands and terraced fields to the charming village of Ghandruk, today's hike offers even more amazing views. Discover the authentic Gurung settlement, pay a visit to nearby residences, and become fully immersed in the area's rich cultural legacy.

Day 6: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul; Drive to Pokhara
The trekking expedition comes to a conclusion as you descend to Nayapul and bid farewell to Ghandruk. You would return by vehicle to Pokhara from Nayapul, where you may unwind and reflect on your trekking adventures in the tranquil environs of this lakefront city.

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu or Onward Travel
You will head back to Kathmandu with a preference, either by automobile or flight, holding the beautiful memories you experienced trekking Annapurna Poonhill.
